1996 - 1998: Graduated from Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (N.A.I.T.) with a diploma in Electronics Engineering - Avionics
1993 - 1994: Attended Airista Aviation ground school and pilot training where I acquired my private pilots license and night rating. Gained mountain flying experience at Babin Air in Invermere, British Columbia.
1982 - 1987: Attended Lamont Jr. / Sr. High School in Lamont, Alberta.

Work Experience

May 2009 - Present
  • Currently working as a freelance content creator, graphic designer, data entry, website development.
  • Skills include: Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After effects, Priemiere, Encore), Wordpress, Content creation and management, HTML, CSS, PHP.


June 1998 - May 2009

Worked for SPAR Aerospace on several programs:

  • Avionics Update Program (AUP) for the Canadian Department of National Defense.
  • Periodic Safety Inspections program (PSI) for the Canadian Department of National Defense.
  • PSI program for the United States Coast Guard.
  • SPAR C-130 Hercules center and outer wing refurbishment program.
  • C-130 Greece Hellenic Air Force AUP program.
  • C-130 Royal Norwegian Air Force AUP program.
  • C-130 New Zealand AUP program.
  • During my time at Spar I worked on all phases of aircraft maintenance: system removals, harness building, safety inspections, repairs, testing and troubleshooting of avionics systems as well as carried out and inspected C-130 Hercules service bulletins.
  • I received training in compass swing and fuel system calibration; strain gauge systems installation and testing; fiber optic installation, termination and testing; work place safety and hazards; confined space; fall arrest training; man lift and scissor lift training.
  • When work was slow on the floor, I was assigned to clerical positions such as data entry and production of aircraft service manuals.
December 1988 - September 1996
  • Held a contract with Canada Post for rural route mail delivery.
  • My responsibilities included the sorting, delivery and pick-up of mail.
  • The job required me to work with the public and solve any problems or concerns of customers.
  • I was also responsible for documentation of parcel pick-up and delivery.
May 1988 - August 1989
  • Worked for the Edmonton Soaring Club operating out of Chipman, Alberta airfield.
  • My responsibilities included maintenance of runway, campground and clubhouse.
  • Responsible for the use and upkeep of equipment such as mowers and trimmers.
  • Occasionally helped with glider assembly and take-off.
  • I was required to work with little supervision.
  • Whether working alone or in groups, I am motivated to work diligently and meticulously to achieve a quality outcome.
  • My previous employment required me to work under many different environmental conditions and time restraints.
  • In my spare time I enjoy playing bass, gardening, cooking, fishing, hunting and Jiu-Jitsu.
